Coombe House Hotel - Bourton-on-the-Water

Our stay was fantastic, but transportation around the Cotswolds was tricky.

The hotel had a central location and it was steps away from Birdland Park and Gardens. The property was in a local area. Had a delicious english breakfast with many options, loved the meal...

had a double room with extra touches including fresh milk, clean sizeable bathroom, shower and i loved it. the location was stunning and marvellous, near center, and local restaurants which were superb.

Oh, the alleged "clean and cozy" atmosphere was quickly overshadowed by limited space-i thought i was staying at a shoebox! And the absence of a private spa was positively criminal, as if my comfort didn't matter. Almost left a glorious review, but just couldn't. Inferiority complex city, this place is.

I had delightful stay, the place is gorgeous and upscale!

Everything there was first-class and the staff were amazing and brilliant. The room was airy and bright, included with all added extras as well as bottled water. The breakfast was lovely with Early Grey tea and fresh pastries, for example to choose from.

The breakfast was enjoyable, the room was well-maintained with really good facilities.

The spacious room was impeccably clean and well-equipped. The host was attentive and provided excellent local recommendations. The breakfast offered a fantastic variety of tasty options, ensuring a perfect start to our days. The lovely garden added to the serene atmosphere.

Clarification on the food policy in rooms would be helpful .

I enjoyed an very nice two-night stay. The breakfast was excellent, with fresh ingredients and delicious cooked-to-order options that started my day on a high note. The beautiful gardens provided a fine backdrop for my morning meals!

The facts without the fluff

A good stay marked by a warm welcome from the host, complete with tea and homemade cake. The attention to detail throughout the comfortably decorated room was excellent. Breakfast was a treat, served with a smile, and the beautiful gardens added charm to our experience. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway!

Staying at coombe house was so special! The location is super close to the village, just a short walk away. Breakfast was amazin, with a variety of choices and freshly cooked options. David and dawn were the best hosts, really making us feel at home and even offering us tea and cake on arrival. The garden outside the dining room was beautiful and made our meals even better.

the only downside was that i wished there was more parking available and it could be a bit noisy at times with guests coming in.

David made sure we were well looked after, even providing tips for a day at Naunton Downs Golf Club.

In my wife's opinion, more family-friendly games would be a nice addition.

We had such a wonderful 4-night stay, enjoying a fantastic breakfast each morning, and David left fresh milk in the fridge for us, which was a lovely touch. The garden space provided a perfect spot for relaxation, and we loved unwinding in the cozy lounge area. The only minor downside was navigating transport around the Cotswolds, but it didn't take away from our overall experience. 😊
